The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) is the national leadership organization for education-based high school athletics and activities, serving all 51 state associations, more than 19,000 high schools, and over 12 million students with playing rules, administrative leadership, and educational programming; its NFHS Learning Center has delivered over 27 million coaching courses since 2007. Through Empower Every Coach, NFHS is partnering with the University of Washington’s Center for Leadership in Athletics on #SheLeads, a nationwide effort to grow and support women coaches in high school sports — anchored by an interactive digital hub that helps athletic directors address the barriers limiting women’s entry and retention.
